At Nywele Nzuri, our policies are designed to ensure a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience for every client. Please take a moment to review our guidelines on pricing, bookings, deposits, cancellations, and hair preparation before booking your appointment.”

Bookings & Cancellations Policies

To secure your appointment, we kindly ask that bookings be made in advance. A $25 booking fee is required and will be applied toward your final balance. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment, as late arrivals may result in reduced service time or rescheduling. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we request at least 24 hours’ notice. Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations or no-shows. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After that, your appointment may be cancelled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

Pricing Policies

At Nywele Nzuri Braiding Salon, our prices are based on the style, size, and length you choose, as well as the time and materials required to achieve your desired look. Final pricing will be confirmed before your appointment begins to ensure full transparency. Please note that complex or customized styles may carry an additional charge depending on the level of detail and work involved. Hair is provided for most styles unless otherwise stated, and clients will be informed in advance of any exceptions. To ensure a focused and peaceful environment, only clients receiving services are allowed in the salon.

Hair Preparation & Maintenance Policy 

For the best results, we recommend that clients arrive with clean, detangled, and product-free hair unless otherwise instructed. This helps us begin your style promptly and ensures a smoother process. After your appointment, we’ll provide tips on maintaining your braids, twists, or locs so they stay fresh and healthy for as long as possible. Please follow our aftercare guidance to prolong the life of your style and protect your natural hair. For your safety and comfort, please inform us of any scalp conditions (e.g., hair loss, alopecia) during your consultation.
